10 000 dead in Sweden and 5000 more expected the coming months
- Are you going to vaccinate?
- Have you investigated the side-effects?
- Do you have antibodies and think you won't need it?
I am considering vaccination, but am sceptic and will not be first in line. I have never gotten vaccinated for any type of flu ever before. However, Covid-19 surpasses 'any flu'. The vaccinations have started here in Sweden and some elderly family members are soon to get their shots. I will wait and see how they respond to the vaccine. I am not to be considered young exactly either. On Saturday I have been 50 for a year and it has not been a year of leisure, luck or good fortune, but hard work and more hard work. Looking back at the past decade it was rough, all members on my fathers side of the closest family passed away; my dad, my grandmother, my grandmothers brother and my dads brother. I sincerely hope to avoid funerals this decade. Good things happened as well. I went back to school, got my bachelors degree and went to South Africa on a scholarship in 2017 and then took my masters degree in 2020. I started my own company, for the second time around, and it's still paying the rent. Life goes on as it should. I do regret buying that red jacket online though, it was too big and too bright, but maybe I will sell it and buy a blue one instead, it's very comfortable though, fluffy. When the surrounding world is in chaos we tend to focus on the small problems that are manageable. However, I hope the vaccine works and is not placebo or that a new mutant virus outsmarts it.
Stay safe and healthy 💓
