Eurovision Song Contest
As you faithful readers know, I am a helpless fan of ESC. I've tried to break up with them several times, but I always come back. This year, after the anti-year last year, was a bit special. There was a live audience and the contributions from the 26 countries that participated in the final were more varied and interesting than before. Innovative even. I particularly liked Ukraines song Shum ( which means 'noise') with the group Go_A. Everything about this song and this group is so avantgarde. In my opinion they should have won, and did in my book anyway.
The band who according the audience votes won was the Italian contribution Måneskin with an obnoxious real piece of noise called Zitti E Buoni, which I'm not going to post here. Instead I found a quite nice song and video from the called Torna a casa (which means 'back home').
Lithuania's Discoteque with The Roop was also very catchy and weird.
And yes, not to forget, I finally got my drivers license. Driving solo is scary though, but I will get used to it. Small trips, one at the time, to begin with. So drive safely out there, I'm planning to stay alive.
