Shangri-La

In Singapore , Asia's premier defense summit called Shangri- La Dialogue is currently taking place. The reason I know this is not because have an interest in Asia's military. The reason is far more mundane. For the past 3 days a large amount of readers have appeared from Singapore, so I googled news from Singapore and noticed the summit. I also happened to look at some pictures of Singapore, with great amazement.  It's seems like a paradise with all the greenery and futuristic cityscapes combined. I wish I could travel there some day,  I don't know why the Singaporeans are paying attention to my website. Of that I can only speculate, which I will not.  Singapore seems like an embodiment of the legend of Shangri-La.  However,  Shangri-La city, is a real location in China, also called Xianggelila, mostly inhabited by the Naxi people. IISS , the International Institute for Strategic Studies, are hosting the summit. I am currently doing a master in strategic communication, maybe I am needed there?😅  As this minor research has proven, one google search leads to another and suddenly you are on a new virtual adventure. I could be hired as a strategic mystic. I can work from Bangkok to begin with, then Singapore. My job will be to visit all Shangri-La related locations in the world. Paris seems really nice too.  Shangri-La really has the best hotels. I should buy a new swimsuit too.

Aside from this little virtual vacation, I have finished all my exams for the semester and am hoping to finally relax a bit. The weather is still quite chilly in northern Sweden, even had snow the other day. The global warming has definitely missed a spot.
