Political narratives
In the aftermath of following the American election and now the risk of nuclear war I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my reflection around these topics. What I was thinking was that, in a sense, they are just new narratives that we are supposed to grab hold of, distractions from what we are not supposed to focus on. So what are we supposed to focus on? I don't think we really know. Ourselves perhaps? How we relate to the surrounding reality. The worldview we are presented by media is chaotic. The world is in constant change. From one day to the next anything can happen, and we need to be comfortable with that notion, secure enough in ourselves to experience the fluctuating reality as it is presented and perhaps learn to distinguish between narratives constructed for the sake of controlling manipulation and those that are constructive and liberating.
Regarding the American election there are many speculation as to why the Democrats failed so miserably. Some say that it was because of Kamala Harris incoherence and seeming intoxication during her appearances. Others mean that it was because of the revolution against wokeness, that the whole DEI agenda had gone too far with transvestites in sexually provoking outfits reading stories to children, men claiming to be women intruding in women's restrooms and locker rooms, and competing with women in sports. Not to mention all the identity sensitive ego confirming pronouns. Also, the gender affirming care for children where children are coerced into undergoing gender transformation treatments. Which in my opinion is nothing but abuse. The utopian narrative constructed by the DEI agenda became a pragmatic obstruction and posed a danger to values and lifestyles considered basic, fundamental and safe. There cannot be a functioning society where anything goes, as in having open borders that facilitates mass invasion of criminal elements. So here comes Trump, the hero that can save America once and for all and restructure conservative values and lifestyles. To polarize this narrative even more it was an election of women against men, where women were represented by the Democrats and men by the Republicans. The political debates revolved around this polarization in a manner where women of the left were portrayed as 'libtards', liberal retards, and stereotyped as hysterical with blue hair, no make-up, big glasses and baggy clothes. Whereas the men of the right, and women too in the right, were portrayed as competent, energetic and enterprising, wearing suits and uniforms. The Democrats never really stood a chance. Brutal reality caught up with their unicorn dreamland. People are not ready for utopia. When reality is in a disintegrating state, loose, fluid, it creates insecurity, fear and chaos. In order to survive as a society we need to get a grip, sharpen up and take action. Manly qualities. No more caring for the poor in third world countries, they are not our business, right? Everybody should go back to the country their grandparents were born in and if you question this new paradigm you will be deprived of your citizenship. There will be no wars, pedophiles in Hollywood and in high positions will be outed and the deep state eliminated, These are the predominant narratives
of the American election, as far as I have concluded. It's very American. The car-salesman won over the hotel receptionist.
I used to believe in globalism, that the planet should be governed by the avantgarde, the intellectual elite. If you look at the IQ- levels, as we have defined intelligence according to our limited understanding, and how they are spread worldwide, you might also think intelligent globalism would be a good idea. In reality even the most intelligent are not smart enough to solve the problems of the world as there are violent and destructive forces that prevent such a development, but perhaps Trump can save us all? Maybe he has figured out a method? All the public seems to need is a new clown in town, someone to make them laugh and give them hope. Hope is the last resort. That's where we are. In the claws of fear mongers. Now we must fear nuclear war and jump on any authoritarian train that claims it can be prevented.
I am trying to not the biased towards any particular political ideology. I think they all have good and bad aspects, but are insufficient. Ideologies are for the rich to lean on to justify their excessive means.
That will be enough provocations for now.
Welcome to comment if you dare. 😁
